First Annual Report for Congo Brazzaville Project Released

The first annual report for the project 'Capacity Building in Congo Brazzaville' has been released, covering the year 2007-2008. At the moment the report is available in French, which you can download from here in pdf format. The English version will be appearing here shortly.

Liberia Workshop Report and Training Manual Published

Andrea Vincent of Forests Monitor and Sam Lawson of Earthsight recently conducted a training workshop in Monrovia for the FDA, EPA and local NGOs. The finished workshop report and training manual are available here for donwload.

Proposal for DRC presented to Chatham House

Gabon Scoping Mission Results

As lead organisation in the project to support independent monitoring of forest law enforcement and governance in the Congo Basin, a project funded by the EU - Forests Monitor staff have recently undertaken a 1st trip to Libreville, Gabon, to introduce the concept and work with local NGOs there.
