Our Funders

Our funders play an important role in keeping Forests Monitor going. We need them to provide finance for each project we do, and ensure that we get the best results.

Our current funders include:

Oxfam NOVIB, until recently, they have been a core funder for the Forests Monitor Trust. This is due to a shift in our activities from the International Forests policy work to focusing almost exclusively on Africa for the year 2007.

NC-IUCN, the funder of many of our projects, including our most recent, Concessions to Poverty.

DFID, funder of one of our current projects based in the Great Lakes region in Uganda, and our current project in Congo Brazzaville.

The EC, funder of our current 3 year project based in Congo Brazzaville.

Interested in helping Forests Monitor's work? Why not DONATE?

We wish to thank Oxfam NOVIB, whose support and funding over the last few years has made this relaunch of our website possible. Without them, Forests Monitor wouldn't have been able to make the progress it has in bringing to the fore the need to fundamentally review forest policies. Because of them, this work is finally beginning to bear fruit.
