  • National Forums: executive summaries

    The aim of the National Forums is to discuss the various concepts and approaches related to local community forests in order to contribute to the development of appropriate legislation within DRC. These Forums, which take place in Kinshasa, provide a platform where experts, practitioners and researchers can discuss and analyse technical and legal concepts and ideas related to community forestry.

  • Provincial and Local Forums: meeting reports

    The Provincial and Local Forums take place at the provincial and territorial levels respectively. Their aim is to provide a broad platform to discuss the findings of the dialogues being undertaken with communities as part of this project, and to enable further elaboration of the issues under consideration. Participants include members of parliament, the provincial government and territorial authorities, representatives of civil society, customary chiefs and other stakeholders.
